When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use gloov, we collect video files you upload, transcription data generated from your videos, and project data you create.
We use privacy-friendly analytics tools (Plausible and PostHog) to understand how our product is used. These tools do not use cookies for tracking and do not collect personally identifiable information for analytics purposes. We track anonymized usage events such as feature usage and page views to improve the product.
We use Sentry for error tracking to identify and fix bugs quickly. When an error occurs, technical information about the error (stack trace, browser info) may be sent to Sentry. This is a functional service essential for maintaining the product.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Video files are stored on Amazon S3 with server-side encryption. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or request restriction of processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and uploaded files within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
gloov uses a single essential cookie for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics tools are configured to operate without cookies.
